Power BI Engineer - Power Query M

Description :

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Power BI Engineer with Cloud exposure to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade BI dashboards and analytics solutions for telecom data.

The role requires strong expertise in Power BI, data modeling, and cloud-based data platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders

- Build and optimize data models using DAX and Power Query (M)

- Integrate Power BI with cloud data sources (Azure/AWS/GCP)

- Work with large telecom datasets to deliver actionable insights

- Implement row-level security (RLS) and data governance best practices

- Optimize report performance and manage data refresh schedules

- Collaborate with data engineering, business, and IT teams

- Support production issues and ongoing enhancements

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 47 years of experience in Power BI / Business Intelligence

- Strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI, DAX, Power Query

- Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Azure SQL)

- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL concepts, and SQL

- Experience with large-scale data analytics

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have :

- Experience in Telecommunications domain

- Exposure to Azure DevOps / CI-CD for BI deployments

- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis

- Power BI or Azure certifications
