Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, and SQL, along with a good understanding of data security and Power BI security models.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.

- Develop complex and optimized DAX queries and measures using Power BI Desktop.

- Create data models that support scalable and high-performance reporting solutions.

- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure appropriate data access for different users and business groups.

- Understand and implement Power BI application security layer models.

- Connect Power BI with various data sources and perform data transformation and modelling as required.

- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and reporting.

- Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.

- Perform report validation, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution.

- Ensure dashboards and reports follow data governance, security, and visualization best practices.

- Collaborate with data engineers, developers, analysts, and business teams for end-to-end BI solution delivery.

- Maintain technical documentation for Power BI reports, datasets, data models, and security configurations.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.

- Proficiency in writing DAX queries, calculated columns, measures, and functions.

- Strong understanding of Power BI Desktop and data modelling.

- Hands-on experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS).

- Good understanding of Power BI security and application security layer models.

- Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts.

- Experience in developing interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

- Good understanding of data transformation, modelling, and performance optimization.
