Power BI Developer - Dashboard Design

Description :

We are seeking an experienced BI Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft BI tools - particularly SSRS - to join our clients team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing BI reports, dashboards, and data models to deliver actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports, dashboards, and visualizations.

- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL/T-SQL queries to ensure high performance and data accuracy.

- Work with data warehousing concepts to support reporting and analytics requirements.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver BI solutions.

- Support ETL workflows and ensure smooth data flow from source systems to reporting layers.

- Maintain documentation, adhere to standards, and ensure data quality across reporting systems.

- (Optional) Assist with SSIS packages or Power BI dashboards as needed.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).

- Proficiency in SQL / T-SQL and MS SQL Server.

- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

- Experience working with large datasets and optimizing query performance.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to SSIS for ETL development.

- Knowledge of Power BI for dashboarding.

- Experience with Git/GitHub or other version control tools.
