Power BI Developer - Dashboard Design

Duration : 6 Years its C2H.

Experience relevant years : 4 to 6 years.

Role : Developer/Senior developer.

Good communication skills required.

Location : Bangalore (Hybrid).

Rounds of interview : 2 rounds virtual.

Work timings : flexible to work till 8 to 9 am (log out).

Mornings can be flexible (login).

Resource should be good with power BI, Sequel, Data validation, able to write queries and facilitate team members; build dashboards.

Tasks will be assigned by scrum master under agile set up.

Technical Skillset :

- Proficiency in Power BI, with hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports.

- Strong knowledge on Data visualization and Data modeling concepts like star and snowflake schemas.

- Strong knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M).

- Data connectivity skills, including the ability to connect Power BI to various sources like SQL Server, Excel, APIs, and Data Lakes.

- Experience with Power BI Service features, such as automating report refreshes, setting up dataflows, configuring scheduled refreshes, and implementing row-level security (RLS).

- Advanced SQL skills for querying and transforming data from relational databases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy interactive and visually compelling Power BI dashboards and reports.

- Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and domain experts to gather and understand business requirements.

- Translate healthcare and life sciences data into meaningful KPIs, metrics, and trends.

- Develop and optimize DAX measures, calculated columns, and queries for high performance.

- Perform data modeling, create relationships, and ensure data integrity in Power BI.

- Connect to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, Data Lakes, etc.) and integrate data into Power BI.

- Automate report refreshes and implement Power BI service capabilities, including dataflows, scheduled refreshes, and row-level security (RLS).

- Perform ad-hoc analysis and generate insights for decision-making.

- Maintain documentation of reports, datasets, data dictionaries, and processes.

- Work in Agile/Scrum methodology for sprint-based deliverables.

- Assist in end-user training and adoption of Power BI reports and dashboards.
