Power BI Developer - Business Intelligence

Certifications :

DP-600 (Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate) certification is mandatory.

Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI & Microsoft Fabric Developer with strong expertise in data modelling, analytics, and enterprise BI solutions.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SQL, and Microsoft Power Builder, along with solid exposure to GitHub and DevOps practices.

Exceptional communication skills are critical, as this role involves frequent interaction with stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models.

- Develop complex DAX calculations and measures.

- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple sources.

- Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs.

- Implement row-level security (RLS) and data governance practices.

- Automate reporting processes and improve efficiency.

- Provide support and troubleshooting for existing reports.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6+ years of experience in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics.

- Microsoft Fabrics.

- Report Builder .

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.

- Proficiency in :

i. DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)

ii. Power Query (M Language)

iii. SQL (advanced queries, joins, stored procedures)

- Experience with data modelling (star & snowflake schemas).

- Knowledge of ETL tools and processes.

- Experience working with data sources such as :

a. SQL Server

b. Excel

c. APIs / Cloud data sources

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
