Role : Power BI Developer

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, data modeling, and dashboard development, along with experience in integrating data from multiple sources and optimizing reporting performance. This role requires close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to translate complex requirements into intuitive and actionable analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, and Grafana.

- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.

- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and other database objects to support reporting requirements.

- Design and maintain robust data models, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema, to ensure efficient reporting and analytics.

- Integrate and transform data from multiple sources using ETL/ELT processes and data integration tools.

- Monitor dashboard performance and implement optimization techniques to enhance responsiveness and user experience.

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting environments.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, report specifications, and data dictionaries.

- Provide user support, troubleshooting, and training to ensure effective adoption of BI solutions.

- Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and cross-functional teams to continuously improve reporting capabilities and analytics processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5-10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, and Data Visualization.

- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development and dashboard creation.

- Strong expertise in SQL, including query optimization, performance tuning, and database development.

- Hands-on experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.

- Strong understanding of Data Modeling, Dashboard Development, and Data Visualization best practices.

- Experience with Data Warehousing concepts and platforms such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery.

- Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, Informatica, or similar data integration platforms.

- Good understanding of reporting architecture, data governance, and BI development methodologies.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in performance monitoring and optimization of BI solutions.

- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics ecosystems.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional project environments.

- Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
