Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Engineer with 6+ years of expertise in reporting, data visualization, and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Power BI, Power Apps, and SQL Server, with the ability to build interactive dashboards, develop applications, and deliver meaningful business insights. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, develop scalable BI solutions, and ensure high-quality documentation for reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

- Build and manage Power BI Apps and create efficient data models using Power Query.

- Develop applications using Power Apps to support business processes.

- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views in SQL Server.

- Gather reporting requirements from business users and convert them into effective visualization solutions.

- Prepare functional and technical documentation for reports, dashboards, and BI solutions.

- Perform data validation, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy and report reliability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting capabilities and support business decision-making.

Required Skills :

- 6+ years of experience in Reporting and Data Visualization.

- Strong expertise in Power BI (Dashboard Development, App Building, and Power Query).

- Hands-on experience with SQL Server and advanced SQL query writing.

- Experience in developing applications using Power Apps.

- Strong understanding of data modeling and reporting best practices.

- Experience creating documentation for reports, dashboards, and BI solutions.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Excel Macros/VBA.

- Exposure to performance optimization and data governance practices.

Candidate Requirements :

- Must be currently based in Bangalore.

- Must be available for face-to-face discussions at the client office.

- Candidates from Hyderabad or JNTU will not be considered.
