Role Overview :

As a Power BI Developer, you will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights for our business stakeholders. Your day-to-day will involve designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI. You will collaborate closely with data engineers, business analysts, and business users to understand their data needs and translate them into effective visualizations. Your work will directly impact decision-making by providing clear, concise, and data-driven insights to improve business performance and drive strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and business trends to stakeholders.

- Model complex data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity for reliable reporting.

- Write and optimize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) formulas to create calculated columns, measures, and tables for advanced data analysis.

- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, understand data needs, and translate them into effective visualizations and reporting solutions.

- Maintain and enhance existing Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring optimal performance and data accuracy.

- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and security.

- Provide training and support to business users on how to use Power BI dashboards and reports effectively.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that effectively communicate business insights.

- Proven expertise in data modeling techniques and principles, with the ability to create complex data models from various sources.

- Strong proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for creating calculated columns, measures, and tables.

- Solid understanding of SQL and experience in querying and manipulating data from relational databases.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with business users and technical teams.

- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations and reporting solutions.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Adaptable to on-site work environment in Hyderabad.
