Job Summary :

We are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Developer to join our data team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, and data modeling, with a proven ability to design and develop scalable and insightful dashboards. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to transform data into actionable intelligence.

Requirements :

- Strong proficiency in SQL, DAX, and Power Query

- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI

- Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts

Key Responsibilities :

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable insights

- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis

- Develop and maintain data models using Power BI Desktop and Power Query

- Create DAX measures and calculated columns to support analytical requirements

- Optimize performance of Power BI reports and underlying data sources

- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency across reports

- Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to improve reporting processes

- Integrate Power BI reports with other Microsoft tools and platforms

- Document technical designs, report logic, and data sources

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Proficient in SQL and database management (preferably SQL Server, Azure SQL, etc.)

- Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M Language), and Power BI Service

- Experience in data modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and performance tuning

- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes

- Experience integrating Power BI with Excel, SharePoint, or other business platforms

- Good understanding of data security, governance, and report publishing

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

- Microsoft Certified : Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or similar certifications

- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or similar tools

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working with Jira or similar tools
