We are seeking an experienced Power BI Architect to lead end-to-end Business Intelligence architecture and drive enterprise-scale implementation.

This role involves designing Power BI Semantic Models, defining governance guardrails, optimizing capacity and query performance, and enabling analytics across multiple data sources.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in DAX, data modeling, Premium/Fabric capacity planning, security architecture, incremental refresh, and deployment automation, along with strong stakeholder communication and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities :

BI Architecture & Governance :

- Design scalable enterprise BI platforms using Power BI service and Lakehouse architecture.

- Define workspace hierarchy, access control, and governance best practices.

- Implement and govern Bronze?Silver?Gold data architecture for self-service BI.

- Establish data ownership, lineage, endorsement, and auditing strategy.

- Enforce security standards including Row Level Security and compliance.

Data Modeling :

- Architect optimized models using Star Schema modeling.

- Handle large-scale fact tables and complex relationships.

- Implement strategies for Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Type 1/2).

DAX Leadership :

- Develop high-performance, reusable DAX measure frameworks.

- Mentor developers and review complex DAX logic.

- Debug and optimize DAX using DAX Studio.

Performance & Capacity Optimization :

- Tune Query Engine and Storage Engine bottlenecks.

- Design incremental and partitioned refresh frameworks for 50M1B+ row semantic models.

- Optimize reports for premium tenants and Microsoft Fabric Capacity.

- Implement monitoring using Power BI Performance Analyzer.

Cloud & Data Source Integration :

- Integrate and optimize BI workloads with Azure Synapse Analytics.

- Connect curated data lakes via Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2.

- Guide teams in ADF ? ADLS ? Synapse ? Power BI architectures.

DevOps & Deployment :

- Implement CI/CD, code standards, PBIX optimization, and automated deployment.

- Maintain version control using GitHub.

- Design reusable dashboard templates, parameterized deployments, and automation.

Stakeholder Management :

- Convert ambiguous business needs into scalable semantic model and report designs.

- Work closely with Product, Finance, Sales, and Data Engineering teams.

- Present architectural trade-offs and design decisions clearly to non-technical leaders.
