Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Architect with 10+ years of experience in BI, Data Analytics, and Cloud Data Platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Cloud, with the ability to design scalable enterprise-grade analytics and reporting solutions.

The candidate should have strong experience in data architecture, semantic modeling, ETL/ELT, performance optimization, security, and integration of multiple enterprise data sources.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect scalable Power BI and Microsoft Fabric solutions for enterprise analytics.

- Define end-to-end BI and data architecture using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, and Power BI.

- Design and implement Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, OneLake, and Medallion Architecture using Microsoft Fabric.

- Develop enterprise-grade Power BI semantic models, dashboards, reports, and datasets.

- Design optimized star/snowflake schemas, dimensional models, and data marts.

- Implement and optimize data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric Data Factory / Azure Data Factory.

- Design data integration solutions across SQL Server, Azure, cloud, and other enterprise data sources.

- Develop and optimize Azure Synapse SQL pools, Spark workloads, and data pipelines.

- Implement Power BI Row-Level Security (RLS), Object-Level Security (OLS), workspace governance, and deployment strategies.

- Establish Power BI governance, administration, capacity management, and best practices.

- Perform Power BI and Fabric performance tuning, including DAX, data models, refreshes, and capacity optimization.

- Work with business and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions.

- Provide technical leadership and mentor BI/Data Engineering teams.

- Define standards for CI/CD, version control, deployment pipelines, and DevOps for Power BI and Fabric.

- Evaluate new Microsoft technologies and recommend solutions aligned with enterprise data strategy.

Mandatory Skills :

- 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Warehousing.

- Strong expertise in Power BI and enterprise BI architecture.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.

- Strong experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud and Azure data services.

- Advanced DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL skills.

- Strong experience in data modeling and dimensional modeling.

- Experience with Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, OneLake, Data Warehouse, and Data Factory.

- Experience with Azure Data Factory / ETL/ELT pipelines.

- Strong understanding of data security, governance, and Power BI administration.

- Experience designing high-volume, scalable data and analytics platforms.

Good to Have :

- Azure certifications such as AZ-305, DP-600, DP-203, or PL-300.

- Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2).

- Experience with Azure Databricks / Spark / PySpark.

- Experience implementing Power BI deployment pipelines and CI/CD using Azure DevOps/Git.

- Experience with APIs and integration with enterprise applications.

- Knowledge of Python for data engineering/analytics.

- Experience with Data Governance, Purview, and Microsoft Fabric security.
