Job Location : Gurgaon

Were seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Product team. This role involves designing and implementing server-side logic, ensuring application scalability and security, and maintaining our technology stack, including Java, SQL, spring, and more.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for web technologies, a strong background in relational databases, and experience in a modern software development environment. Youll work in a dynamic, agile team environment, developing features that impact users in the Canadian market.

Desirables :



- B.Tech/ BE Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- 02 to 04 years of programming in Core Java and with the spring framework

- Good knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and SQL.

- Experience working with hibernate, Jenkins, maven and CI/CD pipelines

- Well-versed with Test driven development

- Strong hold on system design and architecture and demonstrated experience in developing things from scratch

- Participate in all agile rituals including daily stand-ups, iteration planning, story huddles, retrospectives, and creation of burn-up charts. Ensure that all work is captured in Jira.

- Supports and develops software developers by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities

- Excited about working in a growth-stage startup, learning and solving problems without getting constrained by current knowledge or experience.

- Experience building operationally critical services, especially in eCommerce.

- Responsible for mentoring team of 4-6 Junior engineers

- Required to work with the development team in Canada (as per business needs)
