PLM Optiva Developer

We are seeking a skilled PLM Optiva Developer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Infor Optiva PLM development, customization, and implementation, along with exposure to .NET-based applications. This role involves working closely with business and technical teams to analyze requirements, implement solutions, and provide post-deployment support for Optiva PLM systems, primarily in process industry domains.

Key Responsibilities :

- Participate in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of Infor Optiva-based PLM solutions.

- Perform customizations, configuration, and enhancements within the Optiva PLM system to meet business requirements.

- Provide incident analysis, defect resolution, and troubleshooting for production environments.

- Manage and implement change requests (CRs), ensuring smooth deployment and system stability.

- Deliver post-implementation support and ensure timely resolution of live production issues.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, infrastructure, and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Work closely with end users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Maintain technical documentation, system design artifacts, and configuration details.

- Continuously explore and adopt best practices for PLM solution development and deployment. Required

Technical Skills :

- 3- 5 years of experience in Infor Optiva PLM development and customization.

- Proficiency in .NET-based applications, including C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.

- Strong knowledge of Infor Optiva PLM architecture, modules, and configuration.

- Experience with data migration, integration, and interface development between PLM and other enterprise systems.

- Expertise in incident management, change control, and defect fixing.

- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and performance tuning in PLM environments.

- Familiarity with process manufacturing industries such as FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Chemicals.

- Proven track record of successful Optiva PLM implementations for enterprise clients.

- Understanding of Infor ION, Infor M3, or integration frameworks.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control systems like Git or SVN.

- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and deployment automation.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a hybrid environment.

- Proactive attitude toward learning and adopting new technologies.

- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills to handle project deadlines effectively.

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
