Platform Operations Engineer - Application & Database Environment

Description :

We are seeking a mid-level Platform Operations Engineer who can quickly contribute to troubleshooting and operational support across our application and database environments.

This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on SQL expertise and practical experience diagnosing and resolving application issues in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform database troubleshooting, query analysis, and performance investigation using SQL

- Support application troubleshooting and operational issue resolution

- Investigate production incidents, identify root causes, and drive resolution

- Work closely with engineering and support teams to maintain platform stability and performance

- Monitor system health and proactively address operational concerns

- Assist with process improvements and operational best practices

Required Skills & Experience :

- Experience troubleshooting applications in production environments

- Ability to analyze data issues, query performance, and system behavior

- Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities

- Comfortable working independently and able to ramp up quickly

- Experience supporting platform or operational environments

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization

- Familiarity with monitoring and incident management tools

- Exposure to cloud or distributed systems environments

- Understanding of platform operations and support processes
