About the Role :

The Client Company is building a media super-app bringing together video, audio, radio, micro-drama, news and commerce on a single platform. We're hiring a Platform Engineer to own infrastructure and DevOps end-to-end spanning cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, monitoring and security.

This is a foundational, individual-contributor infrastructure role. You will define the infrastructure foundation that every engineering team builds and ships on, setting the operational standards the wider organization relies on.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own infrastructure and DevOps end-to-end, including GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, monitoring, CDN, storage, secrets management, IAM and networking

- Design and maintain a scalable, secure cloud infrastructure foundation to support the platform across all content and commerce verticals

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that keep engineering teams shipping quickly and reliably

- Set up monitoring, alerting and observability practices across services to ensure platform reliability

- Own infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform to keep environments consistent and reproducible

- Partner closely with the Backend Architect and Frontend Architect to ensure infrastructure supports application architecture needs

- Own IAM, secrets management and networking security practices across the platform

- Evaluate and introduce new infrastructure tools and practices where they meaningfully improve reliability, security or velocity

- Own infrastructure cost optimization and scalability planning as the platform grows beyond Phase 1

Required Qualifications :

- 5 to 8 years of infrastructure, DevOps or platform engineering experience

- Deep, hands-on expertise with GCP (or equivalent major cloud provider), Kubernetes and Terraform

- Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines at scale

- Strong understanding of monitoring, observability and incident response practices

- Experience with networking, IAM and secrets management in a cloud-native environment

- Comfortable operating as a high-impact individual contributor, leading through technical authority and influence

- Excellent communication skills able to document and evangelize infrastructure standards across engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in a media, content or commerce super-app environment, especially with CDN and content delivery at scale

- Prior experience at a high-growth startup building 0= to 1 infrastructure

- Relevant cloud certifications (GCP Professional Cloud Architect or equivalent)

- Experience with cost optimization practices for cloud infrastructure at scale
