Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade platforms and applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Splunk, Dynatrace, and integration technologies such as Mule ESB. You will play a key role in ensuring application reliability, performance, scalability, and operational excellence in a highly Agile and CI/CD-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications and platform services.
- Monitor application health and performance using Splunk, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics, and proactively resolve production issues.
- Develop microservices and RESTful APIs using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and enterprise integration frameworks.
- Build and manage event-driven integrations using Kafka and Mule ESB.
- Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes, OpenShift, or other container platforms.
- Configure and support application servers such as WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, or Mule Runtime.
- Perform application monitoring, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless application delivery.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.
Required Skills:
- 6-10 years of experience in platform engineering or enterprise application development.
- Strong expertise in Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics (APM tools).
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or other container orchestration platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Mule ESB, middleware technologies, and enterprise integration.
- Experience with Kafka, RESTful Web Services, XML, and JSON.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL (Oracle).
- Experience with application servers such as WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, or Mule Runtime.
- Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of application monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Experience with JUnit, Cucumber, or other Test-Driven Development (TDD) frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
