Platform Engineer

Important : We are specifically looking for a Platform Engineer profile and not a DevOps Engineer.

Required Experience :

- 4+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related roles

- Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure and Linux-based production systems

- Experience in maintaining linux systems with regular patches and updates

- Experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production environments

- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools

- Experience supporting distributed systems and microservices architectures

- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Experience troubleshooting production infrastructure and performance issues

- Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions

- Experience with enterprise or on-premise deployment environments is highly desirable

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills

- Redhat certifications

- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, security, and distributed systems

- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration

- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar infrastructure automation tools

- Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins

- Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Bash, or Go

- Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry

- Understanding of platform security best practices and secure infrastructure design

- Familiarity with virtualization technologies and hybrid infrastructure environments

- Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environments

Nice to Have :

- Experience with cybersecurity or security infrastructure platforms

- Experience with air-gapped or highly regulated enterprise environments

- Experience with GitOps platforms such as Argo CD or Flux

- Familiarity with service mesh technologies

- Experience operating large-scale multi-cluster Kubernetes environments

- Experience with GPU infrastructure and AI/ML platform workloads

- Familiarity with VMware, KVM, or bare-metal infrastructure

- Knowledge of SRE practices including SLIs, SLOs, and incident management

- Experience building internal developer platforms (IDPs)

- Relevant certifications such as CKA, RHCE, AWS Solutions Architect, or Terraform
