Pixxel - Full Stack Developer - Node.js/React.js

About the Role :

We are looking for a talented Full-Stack Developer to join our Product Engineering team and help build scalable, high-quality web applications that power exceptional customer experiences. As a key contributor, you will work across the entire stackfrontend, backend, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructureand collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver features that directly impact our users. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, building elegant solutions, and owning projects end-to-end in an agile, fast-moving environment.

What Youll Do :

End-to-End Product Development

- Build, enhance, and maintain web applications used by millions of users.

- Translate product and business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions.

- Own feature development across the full stackfrom UI implementation to backend logic and data storage.

Frontend Engineering :

- Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance UI using React.js, TypeScript, and modern component libraries.

- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs using REST/GraphQL.

- Ensure consistent user experiences across devices through clean design patterns, state management, and reusable components.

Backend Engineering :

- Build and maintain microservices and APIs using Node.js, Express, or NestJS (or similar frameworks).

- Implement business logic, authentication, authorization, caching, and data-processing workflows.

- Write clean, testable code with proper logging, monitoring, and error handling.

Database & Data Layer :

- Design efficient data models and queries using PostgreSQL or MySQL.

- Work with NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB, Redis, or Elasticsearch when needed.

- Optimize performance for high-traffic applications through indexing, caching, and query tuning. Cloud,

Collaboration & Leadership :

- Partner with product managers and designers during sprint planning, story refinement, and UX discussions.

- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold engineering excellence.

- Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in coding, testing, and architecture.

What You Bring :

- 3- 7 years of experience as a full-stack or front-end/back-end focused software developer.

- Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, and at least one backend framework (Node.js preferred).

- Solid understanding of web fundamentals : HTML5, CSS3, browser performance, security, API standards, and design systems.

- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and caching systems (Redis).

- Practical experience deploying applications on cloud platforms and working with modern DevOps tooling.

- Understanding of system design concepts, microservices architecture, and event-driven patterns (bonus).

- Passion for building quality products, with a user-first mindset and attention to detail.
