PHP Software Engineer

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented PHP Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance web-based systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building RESTful services, working in a collaborative team environment, and delivering scalable solutions using modern PHP frameworks and best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Assist in the development and implementation of web-based systems and backend services.

- Design and build scalable, efficient, and reusable services that communicate with frontend applications using JSON.

- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, QA, product) to understand and translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Optimize SQL queries and ensure high-performance database interactions.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system issues across the software lifecycle.

- Perform complete testing of developed features to ensure reliability and stability.

- Contribute to documentation, technical specifications, and support project planning using tools like JIRA.

- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Proven experience designing and coding RESTful services.

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

- Experience working with version control systems such as GIT.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills in a collaborative team environment.

- Experience documenting solutions and using tools like JIRA for project tracking.

- MySQL

Proficient Level :

- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery

- Linux command line and environment familiarity
