PHP Developer - Symfony Framework

Responsibilities:

- Develop, maintain, and optimize PHP-based backend applications using the Symphony framework.

- Design and implement database schemas, queries, and procedures with MariaDB.

- Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows best practices.

- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high performance and reliability.

- Collaborate with team members on code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process.

- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.

- Contribute to the continuous integration and deployment processes.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in PHP backend development.

- Strong expertise in the Symphony framework.

- Proficiency in MariaDB, including database design, queries, and optimization.

- Solid understanding of web technologies such as RESTful APIs.

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- A passion for learning and staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Knowledge of other database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Previous experience in Gen AI projects or related fields
