Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer & Support Engineer with hands-on experience in PHP development, application support, troubleshooting, and maintenance. The candidate should be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth functioning of applications, resolve issues, and implement enhancements as required.

Key Responsibilities :

Development :

- Write clean, scalable, and secure code following standard coding practices.

- Develop REST APIs and integrate with external/internal applications.

- Collaborate with UI/UX, QA, and other teams to ensure quality delivery.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Support & Maintenance :

- Provide L2/L3 support for PHP-based applications.

- Diagnose and resolve application issues, bugs, API errors, and performance bottlenecks.

- Monitor production systems and take proactive measures to avoid downtime.

- Handle regular maintenance tasks such as log monitoring, data validation, patch updates, and performance tuning.

- Coordinate with stakeholders and end-users to troubleshoot and resolve issues within SLAs.

- Follow ITIL-based support processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).

Required Skills :

Technical Skills :

- Hands-on experience with any PHP Framework (Laravel / CodeIgniter / Symfony / Yii).

- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap.

- Strong understanding of REST APIs and integrations.

- Good understanding of Linux commands, server configuration, and Apache/Nginx.

Support Skills :

- Ability to analyze PHP error logs, server logs, and system-level logs.

Good to Have :

- Knowledge of shell scripting.
