PHP Developer - Laravel/Symfony

Job Title : Remote /Freelance PHP Developer.

Location : Remote | Employer based in USA & UK.

Job Type : Full-Time / Part Time /Hourly.

Experience : 2-7+ years.

Time Zone Coverage : Preferable overlap with US/UK working hours.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP and related technologies.

- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.

- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, frontend developers, and project managers.

- Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

- Perform code reviews and unit testing.

- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.

- Participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning and reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 2-7+ years of hands-on experience with PHP (Laravel, Symfony, or similar frameworks).

- Strong understanding of MVC architecture and OOP.

- Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.

- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.

- Version control experience with Git.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently in a remote setup.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with DevOps, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

- Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, etc.)

- Experience working with international, distributed teams.
