PHP Developer - Laravel/MVC

About the Role :

We're looking for a PHP Developer with strong expertise in Laravel to help us build reliable, scalable, and high-performing web applications. You'll work closely with our engineering team to design APIs, implement backend logic, and integrate with modern frontend and mobile platforms. If you're a hands-on engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys solving real-world problems at scale, we want to hear from you.

Must-Haves :

- 3-6 years of experience in PHP development, with at least 2+ years working with Laravel.

- Strong understanding of OOP principles, MVC architecture, and RESTful API design.

- Hands-on experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL (schema design, query optimization).

- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue/React is a plus).

- Experience with Git and collaborative workflows (branches, PRs, code reviews).

- Knowledge of queues, caching, and session handling in Laravel.

- Experience building and consuming third-party APIs.

- Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.

Bonus Points :

- Experience with CodeIgniter as we have legacy modules that are being migrated to Laravel.

- Experience with Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ for background jobs and event-driven systems.

- Familiarity with Docker or containerized deployments.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).

- Interest in scalable system design and performance tuning.
