PHP Developer - Laravel Framework

Description :

We are seeking a skilled PHP Laravel Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust web applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong backend development expertise, hands-on experience with Laravel, and the ability to collaborate closely with frontend developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

Application Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP (Laravel Framework).

- Build reusable, testable, and efficient backend components.

- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.

Database & Performance :

- Design and manage databases using MySQL/PostgreSQL.

- Write optimized queries, stored procedures, and database migrations.

- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices.

Frontend Collaboration :

- Work with frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Vue.js/React (basic understanding).

- Collaborate with UI/UX teams to ensure seamless user experiences.

Code Quality & Security :

- Follow Laravel coding standards and best practices.

- Perform code reviews and ensure secure coding practices.

- Write unit tests and support QA during testing cycles.

Maintenance & Support :

- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.

- Provide L2/L3 support for production issues when required.

- Maintain documentation for application architecture and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel Framework.

- Experience with MVC architecture and REST APIs.

- Solid understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns.

- Hands-on experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL databases.

- Familiarity with Git / Bitbucket / GitHub version control systems.

- Experience with AJAX, JSON, API integrations.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to Laravel Livewire, Sanctum, Passport.

- Knowledge of Redis, queues, cron jobs, and background workers.

- Experience deploying applications on AWS / DigitalOcean / shared hosting.

- Familiarity with Docker or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
