PHP Developer - Laravel/CodeIgniter

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP and Laravel / CodeIgniter

- Implement clean, maintainable code following MVC architecture principles

- Develop and consume RESTful APIs for web and third-party integrations

- Work closely with frontend teams using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX

- Design and optimize MySQL database schemas, queries, and stored procedures

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues across environments

- Perform code reviews and ensure best coding standards and practices

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability

- Implement and maintain web security best practices (authentication, authorization, data protection)

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, QA, and project managers

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong experience in PHP development

- Hands-on expertise with Laravel and/or CodeIgniter frameworks

- Solid understanding of MVC architecture and backend design patterns

- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs

- Proficiency in MySQL and database optimization techniques

- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX

- Experience with Git or other version control systems

- Knowledge of web security practices (OWASP, encryption, secure authentication)

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with other PHP frameworks or CMS platforms

- Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)

- Exposure to cloud hosting or deployment environments

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
