Job Description :

We are seeking a Perl Developer with solid experience in scripting, data handling, and system integration. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Perl, UNIX, and SQL, along with a passion for building efficient and scalable backend systems.

Must-Have Skills :

- Perl Scripting Strong development and debugging experience

- UNIX/Linux Shell scripting and command-line operations

- SQL Good command over relational databases and queries

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- ETL Tools Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading processes

- AWS Exposure to cloud platforms and services

- APIs Integration and development knowledge

- HL7 Familiarity with healthcare data standards (a big plus for healthcare projects)

Responsibilities :

- Develop, enhance, and maintain scripts in Perl

- Manage and automate processes on UNIX/Linux environments

- Work with databases using complex SQL queries for data manipulation

- Participate in data integration projects, potentially using ETL tools and APIs

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deployments and debugging

- Work in an Agile development environment with version control and continuous integration tools

Requirements :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience with Perl and Unix-based development

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Excellent communication skills

- Willing to work in a hybrid model (2 days onsite per week)

- Immediate availability is mandatory

Good to Have Skills :

- ETL Tools: Experience with data pipelines and transformation workflows

- AWS: Familiarity with cloud computing services and deployment practices

- APIs: Understanding of API development and integration

- HL7: Knowledge of healthcare messaging standards (preferred for healthcare domain projects)

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend solutions using Perl

- Automate and manage daily processes on UNIX/Linux platforms

- Perform advanced SQL-based data extraction, transformation, and reporting

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in system integration efforts

- Support and optimize ETL workflows and API-based integrations

- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments using Agile and DevOps practices
