Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Lead with strong expertise in Micro Focus LoadRunner and Performance Engineering methodologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end performance testing initiatives, designing and executing performance test strategies, identifying system bottlenecks, and providing optimization recommendations for enterprise applications. The role requires close collaboration with Development, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Business teams to ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and reliability expectations before production deployment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end performance testing activities across multiple projects.

- Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using Micro Focus LoadRunner.

- Execute Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance, and Volume testing.

- Create workload models and performance test strategies based on business requirements.

- Analyze application performance and identify bottlenecks across application, middleware, database, and infrastructure layers.

- Monitor server, database, network, and application metrics during test execution.

- Provide performance tuning recommendations and support issue resolution.

- Generate detailed performance reports and present findings to stakeholders.

- Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to address performance concerns.

- Mentor junior performance testing team members and review deliverables.

- Participate in capacity planning and performance engineering initiatives.

- Support CI/CD integration and automation of performance testing processes.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Micro Focus LoadRunner.

- Expertise in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering.

- Experience with Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance, and Volume Testing.

- Performance monitoring and analysis skills.

- Root cause analysis and bottleneck identification.

- Experience working with web applications, APIs, databases, and distributed systems.

- Strong reporting and stakeholder communication skills.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools.

- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Knowledge of JMeter or other performance testing tools.

- Experience in enterprise-scale application performance testing.

- Understanding of capacity planning and performance optimization techniques.

Candidate Profile :

- 8- 12 years of experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering.

- Proven experience leading performance testing engagements.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
