Perfios - Technical Lead - Software Development

This role focuses on our flagship Perfios Journey Builder platform a highly configurable, multi-tenant SaaS solution that powers seamless digital onboarding, loan origination, and management, delivering truly cutting-edge financial solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Own end-to-end technical delivery for critical product areas, from design to production.

- Drive architectural vision and ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and secure.

- Take ownership of code quality, performance, and maintainability.

- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, design discussions, and best-practice enforcement.

- Mentor, coach, and upskill engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, learning, and technical excellence.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to align business goals with engineering outcomes.

- Proactively identify technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.

- Stay current with emerging technologies and bring relevant innovations into the engineering roadmap.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science.

- 6-9 years of hands-on experience in software development, with at least 1+ years in a lead/technical leadership role.

- Strong understanding of software data structures, design patterns, and architectural principles.

- Proven expertise in designing and building scalable, high-performance, and secure applications.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- A genuine passion for creating high-quality products and solving complex problems.

Good to Have Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with Java and the Spring framework would be a bonus.

- Exposure to microservices architecture and event-driven systems.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, automation).

- Hands-on experience with databases (Postgres, Mongo, Oracle) and performance optimization.

- Prior experience in FinTech or enterprise-scale SaaS platforms.

- Contributions to open-source projects or active engagement in the developer community.
