Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
ETL Development & Management :
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient ETL processes using Pentaho Kettle (PDI).
- Monitor and optimize ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and performance.
Data & Solution Architecture :
- Create and maintain data models, ER diagrams, and comprehensive documentation.
- Provide software solutions for technically challenging business requirements, with a focus on large and complex codebases.
Troubleshooting & Support :
- Use your technical knowledge of the Reconciliation domain to customize vendor application tools, user interfaces, system workflows, and database structures.
DevOps & Process :
- Leverage your experience as a DevOps engineer to support continuous integration and deployment.
- Amend configurations in Control to accommodate upgrade changes and ensure smooth transitions.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, managing complex projects and following through on tasks.
- Create comprehensive documentation for all new and changed components.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Database Skills : Proficiency in SQL and experience with various database management systems.
- Methodologies : Good understanding of Agile methodology and development, with experience working on a large and complex codebase.
- Domain Knowledge : Technical knowledge of Reconciliation domain products is essential.
- DevOps : Some experience in a DevOps engineer role is required.
- Soft Skills : Ability to manage complex projects, excellent communication skills, and a strong focus on task completion.
