Role Overview :

- Certified on Copado fundamentals I & II Admin and preferably Developer certified on Salesforce.

- 6-8 years of overall experience with Salesforce in a developer / admin capacity.

- Minimum 3 years of recent experience with Copado in deployment lead capacity on Copado only.

- Candidates with deployment experience on non-Copado tools need not apply role requires candidate productive on day

- Preferably in Hyderabad, Mumbai or Gurgaon locations.

- Excellent communication and go getter attitude.

- Experience with large projects with 5-6 small teams, and multiple Salesforce production instances.

- Implement and maintain Copado-based deployment processes to enable efficient and reliable Salesforce deployments.

- Troubleshoot deployment issues and ensure seamless transitions from development to production environments.

- Responsible for maintaining health and quality governance metrics for orgs.

- Manage and optimize Salesforce environments, including sandboxes, to support parallel development and testing.

- Responsible for keeping all the environments of the pipeline in sync through back promotions and sync procedures.

- Collaborate closely with Salesforce development teams to enforce DevOps best practices and improve overall delivery velocity.

- Enabling timely Copado upgrades, and conduct impact assessments. Familiar with automate testing processes using Copado Test, including Apex tests, manual test scripts, and Selenium-based UI tests.

- Ensure compliance and governance, defining and enforcing policies across the development lifecycle.

The Salesforce - Copado Release Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end release process for our Salesforce implementations, leveraging Copado as the primary DevOps platform.

- This role involves collaborating closely with development teams, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient deployments across various Salesforce environments.

- The Release Manager plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our Salesforce orgs and minimizing disruptions to business operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Utilize Copado to automate and streamline the deployment process, including managing environments, deployments, and rollback strategies.

- Collaborate with development teams to define branching strategies, manage code merges, and resolve conflicts.

- Coordinate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing of all changes before deployment to production.

- Communicate release plans, progress, and potential risks to stakeholders, providing regular updates

and managing expectations.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the release process.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of release processes, configurations, and deployment procedures.

- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues, working closely with development and infrastructure teams to identify root causes and implement solutions.

- Enforce compliance with security and governance policies throughout the release process.

Required Skillset :

- Proficient in using Copado for Salesforce DevOps, including experience with environment management, deployment automation, and version control.

- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex deployment issues.

- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 6-8 years of experience in Salesforce development and release management.

- Ability to work in a hybrid work environment, collaborating with teams in Hyderabad and Bangalore.
