Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned AEM Technical Architect to lead our enterprise-grade AEM implementations. This is a client-facing role that requires deep technical leadership, architectural expertise, and consulting capabilities across the full AEM product suite.

As a Technical Architect, you will drive solution architecture, development strategy, and technical delivery, while also collaborating with internal and client stakeholders across global digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end AEM architecture and solution design across multiple implementations - including Sites, Assets, and Forms.

- Architect scalable, high-performance web applications using AEM and related technologies.

- Guide development teams on best practices in AEM component design, Sling models, and backend integration.

- Define and enforce coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and security protocols.

- Configure and optimize Dispatcher, CRX repository, replication agents, and performance tuning.

- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and UX teams to align technical decisions with business goals.

- Mentor and guide engineering teams through architectural challenges and design patterns.

- Present technical solutions, roadmaps, and architecture decisions to client leadership and executives.

Must-Have Skills :

- 12+ years of experience in software engineering with 6+ years in AEM implementation and architecture.

- Expertise in Java EE, JSP, Servlets, JSTL, and AEM-specific APIs.

- Deep knowledge of Apache Sling, OSGi, HTL (Sightly), Sling Models, and JCR (CRX).

- Hands-on experience with Dispatcher setup, clustering, workflows, and AEM performance management.

- Proven expertise with CI/CD tools like Maven, Jenkins, and code quality/security tools like SonarQube.

- Front-end skills : JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3.

- Strong understanding of software design patterns, microservices, and RESTful integrations.

- Proven ability to lead consulting teams in an Architect capacity across multiple engagements.

- Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

- Bachelor's or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in Techno-Managerial roles within large consulting setups.

- Knowledge of AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) and Adobe Cloud Manager deployment tool.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies; ScrumMaster or PMP Certification is a plus.

- Experience with other Adobe DX solutions such as Adobe Commerce, Analytics, Target, Audience Manager.

- Ability to work in North America overlap hours.

- Demonstrated history of client-facing presentations to technical and business stakeholders.
