Role : Path Planning and Motion Control Lead

Location : Gurgaon / Pune

Experience : 5+ years

Type : Full-Time

Role Overview :

We are looking for a Path Planning and Motion Control Lead to develop and lead the motion stack that drives our robots. This includes high-efficiency planners, safe obstacle avoidance, and smooth trajectory generation in complex environments.

Responsibilities :

- Architect global and local path planning systems (A-, RRT-, DWA, etc.).

- Develop trajectory optimization and control modules (e.g., MPC, PID).

- Interface closely with SLAM, perception, and hardware teams.

- Ensure stability, responsiveness, and safety under real-world constraints.

- Build test frameworks and simulate performance edge cases.

Requirements :

- Strong expertise in motion planning, control systems, and path smoothing.

- Practical experience with control theory and robotics middleware (ROS, Gazebo).

- Proficient in C++, Python, and relevant planning libraries.

- Demonstrated success in deploying navigation stacks on real robots.

Required Qualifications :

Graduates from Tier-1 institutions preferred. A Masters or PhD in Robotics, Controls, or a related field is an added advantage.
