Job Description :

P99Soft is looking for a skilled and passionate Specialist SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with strong expertise in test automation, API testing, programming, and software quality assurance.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in C# or Java, automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines, with a strong focus on delivering reliable, high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities :

- Participate in story refinement sessions to understand requirements, dependencies, and testing needs.

- Collaborate with Product Owners and developers to deliver high-quality software.

- Design, write, maintain, and execute test cases, including ad-hoc testing.

- Automate prioritized test cases within sprint timelines.

- Perform API testing through code and validate application functionality.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure coding standards and quality.

- Monitor Azure releases for regression defects and environment-related issues.

- Write complex SQL queries for data validation.

- Coordinate testing activities with geographically distributed teams.

- Participate in sprint retrospectives and drive process improvements.

- Track and manage quality metrics and bug reports throughout release cycles.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 7 - 9 years of experience as an SDET.

- 2+ years of experience in API testing through code.

- Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills in C# or Java.

- 2+ years of experience with Selenium WebDriver and Grid, Cypress, or Playwright.

- Ability to write complex SQL queries for data validation.

- Knowledge of testing methodologies and corresponding tools.

- Experience with Visual Studio 2016+ and Git.

- 1+ year of experience with CI/CD pipelines.

- Understanding of test automation, ad-hoc testing, code coverage, feature coverage, ROI, and testing risks.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
