Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with 6+ years of experience in building scalable and secure microservices-based applications.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Java 17/21, Spring Boot, SQL, and distributed systems, along with hands-on experience in identity and access management, messaging platforms, caching technologies, and cloud-native deployments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.

- Build RESTful APIs and microservices adhering to best practices and coding standards.

- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth 2.0, and Okta.

- Design and optimize database schemas and write efficient SQL queries.

- Implement caching solutions using Redis to improve application performance and response times.

- Develop asynchronous and event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka and AWS SQS.

- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance using observability tools and logs.

- Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams for deployments and environment management.

- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and production support activities.

- Work in containerized environments with exposure to Kubernetes and OpenShift.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

- 6+ years of experience in Java development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Java 17 or Java 21.

- Extensive experience in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.

- Good understanding and implementation experience of OAuth 2.0.

- Experience integrating with Okta for authentication and authorization.

- Hands-on experience with Redis for caching.

- Experience with messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka and AWS SQS.

- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.

- Basic understanding of OpenShift.

- Working knowledge of Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to AWS cloud services.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.

- Knowledge of Docker and containerization concepts.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
