Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Specialist to join a fast-growing product-based organization. The ideal candidate will leverage expertise in SAP Master Data Governance and DevOps practices to develop, support, and optimize MDG solutions.

The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability of the enterprise MDM landscape while working closely with global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs) :

- Implement, configure, and support SAP MDG solutions across Product, Customer, Supplier, and Financial Master Data domains

- Manage end-to-end MDG workflows including configuration, troubleshooting, enhancement, and performance optimization

- Handle data replication and distribution between MDG and SAP/non-SAP systems using ALE/IDoc, SOA, and related frameworks

- Perform MDG customizing using ABAP, BRF+, and BAdIs for validations, enhancements, and data governance rules

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and improve data governance processes

- Ensure deliverables align with DevOps principles following Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Support incident, problem, and service management processes; work on ServiceNow ITSM or similar tools

- Work on integration and compatibility aspects with S/4HANA (and ECC where applicable)

- Maintain system documentation, configuration logs, solutions repository, and operational guidelines

- Assist in MDG project implementations, testing cycles, and release management

- Coordinate with global users, SMEs, and IT teams for seamless operations and continuous improvement

- Ensure availability, stability, and scalability of MDG systems within defined SLAs

Required Skillsets :

- Strong knowledge of SAP MDG (version 2022 or above)

- Experience with master data domains: Product, Customer, Supplier, Financial

- Hands-on expertise in MDG workflows, BRF+, ABAP-based enhancements, BAdIs

- Strong understanding of data replication and distribution frameworks (ALE/IDoc, SOA)

- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum and DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA

- Familiarity with incident/service management processes (ServiceNow is a plus)

- Understanding of SAP S/4HANA and basic ECC concepts

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills

- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
