Job Title : Oracle VBCS Developer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications for customers using Oracle Fusion Cloud. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in building VBCS applications, integrating them with Oracle Fusion using REST APIs, and delivering responsive, production-ready solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and enhance applications using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).

- Build intuitive user interfaces, workflows, and business rules within VBCS to meet functional and technical requirements.

- Develop reusable and maintainable components following Oracle best practices.

- Implement rich and responsive user interfaces using Oracle JET components.

- Write clean, efficient JavaScript code, including handling of async operations, promises, and JSON data.

- Integrate VBCS applications with Oracle Fusion Cloud modules (HCM, ERP, SCM, etc.) using REST APIs.

- Consume and manage integration flows exposed via Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

- Handle authentication, data transformation, and error handling in integrations.

- Manage application deployment, migration, and versioning across environments (DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD).

- Support release management activities including packaging, promotion, and rollback when required.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities.

- Troubleshoot application, UI, and integration issues and provide timely resolutions.

- Optimize application performance and ensure security compliance.

- Work closely with functional consultants, integration teams, and business stakeholders.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and integration mappings.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).

- Experience with Oracle JET and frontend UI component development.

- Proficiency in JavaScript, including async programming, promises, and JSON handling.

- Experience integrating VBCS applications with Oracle Fusion Cloud using REST APIs.

- Working knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to consume integration flows.

- Experience in mobile-responsive UI development.

- Hands-on experience with deployment and migration of VBCS applications.

Preferred Skills :

- Understanding of Oracle Fusion security, roles, and privileges.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Exposure to CI/CD practices for Oracle Cloud applications.

Experience & Education :

- 3- 6 years of relevant experience in Oracle Cloud application development (VBCS preferred).

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
