Oracle Technical Consultant - BI Publisher

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and manage incremental extracts, data bursting, and report automation.

- Work extensively with Oracle Cloud General Ledger (GL) backend tables and data structures.

- Utilize REST and SOAP APIs provided by Oracle to integrate with external and internal systems.

- Collaborate with integration teams on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) workflows and mappings.

- Develop and customize reports using Oracle BI Publisher (BIP), BICC, and OTBI within Oracle Cloud ERP.

- Customize standard reports and create new reports based on business needs and Oracle-provided

templates.

- Troubleshoot technical issues, perform impact analysis, and provide timely resolutions.

Required Skills :

- Proven experience with Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) including :

1. Multiple template types (RTF, Excel, PDF, etc.)

2. SQL and non-SQL based data models

3. Incremental extract and bursting techniques

- Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP Financials, especially General Ledger (GL) tables and data flows.

- Hands-on experience with Oracle REST and SOAP APIs.

- Understanding of OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) for data and application integrations.

- Familiarity with BICC (BI Cloud Connector) and OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) reporting tools.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation and data handling.

- Prior experience in a similar long-term Oracle Cloud ERP project.
