We are looking for an experienced Oracle HCM Systems Lead to drive the design, implementation, and optimisation of Oracle HCM across global HR operations. This role acts as the functional expert and strategic partner to HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams, ensuring Oracle HCM is scalable, compliant, and delivers strong business value.
As the Oracle HCM Systems Lead, you will :
- Oversee end-to-end functional design, configuration, and enhancement of Oracle HCM modules
- Lead global implementations, rollouts, and expansion into new regions
- Ensure system alignment with business needs, local compliance, and global process standardisation
- Drive data integrity, reporting excellence, and seamless integrations
- Develop strong HR capability through training, documentation, and change management
- Partner with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and deliver high-impact outcomes
- Support business case development, ROI assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives
- This role bridges HR processes with technology to build a modern, efficient, and future-ready HR system landscape.
Key Responsibilities :
HR Technology & System Leadership :
- Manage multi-module Oracle HCM configurations (Core HR, Absence, T&L, Payroll, Compensation, Talent, Learning, Recruiting)
- Ensure global consistency while supporting local legislative requirements
- Lead testing cycles, deployment, and post-go-live support
- Maintain system security, workflows, approvals, and role design
Process Improvement & Optimisation :
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and enhance system utilisation
- Drive automation, operational excellence, and system adoption
- Track and prioritise improvement initiatives across regions
Transformation & Change Management :
- Lead system-driven organisational changes using structured change management methods
- Prepare stakeholder communication, training materials, and support documentation
- Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure smooth transitions
Stakeholder Collaboration :
- Work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams
- Consult stakeholders proactively and maintain a no-surprises communication style
- Build strong vendor relationships for support and enhancements
Education & Certifications :
- Bachelors degree in HR, IT, Business, or related field
- Oracle HCM Cloud certifications preferred
- Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) are a plus
Experience :
- 8- 16 years of experience specializing in Oracle HCM Cloud functional design and implementation
- Demonstrated success in large-scale, multi-module Oracle HCM implementations
- Experience with payroll systems and HR technology transformation
- Experience creating business cases and supporting technology investment decisions
Technical Skills :
- Deep functional knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud modules
- Expertise with OTBI, BI Publisher, HCM Extracts, dashboards
- Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs
- Strong understanding of HR data privacy, compliance, and global HR processes
- Ability to develop process maps and evaluate new applications
