Key Responsibilities :
Project Costing & Billing :
- Hands-on configuration and support of Oracle EBS Project Costing and Project Billing modules.
- Set up project structures, project types, agreements, tasks, events, billing extensions, and cost distributions.
- Manage revenue generation, invoicing, cost accumulation, and accounting flows within PPM modules.
- Ensure seamless integration of Project Costing and Billing with other financial modules.
Cross-Module Functional Knowledge :
- Work closely with related Oracle EBS modules like :
1. General Ledger (GL)
2. Accounts Payable (AP)
3. Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Ensure financial transactions, accounting entries, and posting processes are accurately aligned with PPM workflows.
- Support month-end and year-end activities related to project costing and revenue.
3. End-to-End Implementation :
- Lead or participate in end-to-end Oracle EBS PPM implementation projects.
- Conduct requirement analysis, solution design, system configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Prepare BR100, MD50, MD70, and other functional documentation.
- Perform CRP, UAT support, cutover, and go-live activities.
Support & Enhancement :
- Provide L2/L3 support for PPM functional issues, error resolution, and process improvements.
- Analyze root causes and deliver effective solutions for production incidents.
- Work closely with technical teams on RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions).
- Support enhancements, new feature rollouts, and user training.
Stakeholder Management :
- Work with business users to gather requirements and understand process gaps.
- Provide guidance on Oracle best practices and industry-standard PPM processes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for system changes and upgrades.
Required Skills & Expertise :
Functional Skills :
- Minimum 8+ years of Oracle EBS PPM functional experience.
- Strong expertise in :
1. Project Costing
2. Project Billing
3. Project Accounting flows
- In-depth understanding of project lifecycle management and financial processes.
Technical Exposure (Good-to-Have) :
- Basic understanding of SQL for data validation and debugging.
- Familiarity with RICE components and ability to work with technical developers.
- Knowledge of Oracle Workflow, AME, and personalizations.
Additional Skills :
- Strong functional understanding of GL, AP, and AR modules.
- Experience in support as well as full-cycle implementations.
- Experience with SLA accounting, invoicing workflows, and revenue recognition.
