Role Overview :

As an Oracle Database Administrator at Sysmind Tech PVT LTD, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and performance of our Oracle database systems. You will collaborate closely with application developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders to ensure the availability, security, and integrity of our critical data assets.

Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing database performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing best practices for data management.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement robust Oracle database solutions to meet business requirements.

- Administer and maintain Oracle databases, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

- Perform database tuning and optimization to improve query performance and resource utilization.

- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to protect against data loss.

- Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.

- Develop and maintain database documentation, including data models, schemas, and procedures.

- Implement and enforce database security policies to protect sensitive data.

- Collaborate with application developers to optimize database interactions and ensure data integrity.

- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime.

- Develop and maintain SQL scripts and stored procedures for data manipulation and reporting.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.

- Proven ability in database tuning and performance optimization techniques.

- Strong understanding of data modeling principles and database design best practices.

- Experience with backup and recovery strategies, including RMAN and Data Guard.

- Solid knowledge of RDBMS concepts and SQL programming.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PL/SQL or Shell scripting.

- Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
