Oracle CPQ Consultant

Role Overview :

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and implementing Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions to streamline and optimize our clients' quote-to-cash processes.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient CPQ solutions, integrating with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and customize Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) modules such as Configuration, Commerce, Pricing, and Document Designer.

- Implement rules, formulas, workflows, and approvals to meet client-specific business processes.

- Develop BML (BigMachines Language) scripts and integrations with external systems (ERP/CRM e., Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, SAP).

- Create and manage commerce processes including transaction flows, approvals, and pricing models.

- Build templates and layouts using Document Designer (DocX templates).

- Work with REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and middleware to integrate CPQ with other enterprise applications.

- Conduct unit testing, system testing, and UAT support to ensure quality and performance.

- Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and troubleshooting for existing CPQ implementations.

- Document technical designs, configurations, and user guides.

- Mentor junior consultants (for senior-level roles).

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong expertise in BML (BigMachines Language) for advanced configurations and rules.

- Experience in Product Configuration, Pricing Rules, Workflows, Commerce Processes, and Approvals.

- Knowledge of Document Designer for proposal/quote generation.

- Integration experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, Salesforce, or other CRM/ERP systems.

- Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, web services, and middleware tools (OIC, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft).

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Good to Have (Preferred Skills) :

- Experience with Oracle Subscription Management, Billing, or Order Management.

- Exposure to Oracle Sales Cloud, Oracle Fusion Applications, or NetSuite.

- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS for UI enhancements.

- Experience working with global clients and onsite-offshore delivery models.
