Job Overview :

- We are seeking a seasoned IT Software Delivery Professional with 4+ years of hands-on development experience and strong expertise in Oracle Analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing analytics and reporting solutions leveraging Oracle Analytics Server, Oracle BI Publisher, and Oracle databases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop analytics solutions using Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).

- Create and enhance reports and dashboards using OBI Reporting Services and BI Publisher.

- Develop complex SQL and PL/SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.

- Work on data visualization, BI tools, and data integration/ETL processes.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.

- Apply agile and continuous delivery principles in all development and deployment activities.

- Implement test-driven development (TDD) and participate in pair programming sessions.

- Set up and maintain continuous integration (CI) and build/release automation using tools such as Bamboo or TeamCity.

- Support existing codebases, refactor legacy code, and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills :

- 4+ years of experience in software development, focusing on Oracle Analytics and BI solutions.

- Strong expertise in OBI Reporting Services (report creation and development).

- Proficiency in Oracle BI Publisher and PL/SQL.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.

- Familiarity with ETL processes, data integration, and cloud-based analytics solutions.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Experience working with agile, continuous integration, and test-driven development (TDD) methodologies.

- Knowledge of build/release automation tools such as Bamboo or TeamCity.

Good to Have :

- Basic knowledge of Python (not mandatory).

- Exposure to Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or similar ETL tools.

- Experience with extreme programming (XP) practices and collaborative software craftsmanship.
