Job Overview :
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Oracle ADF Consultant to lead the development and support of Oracle WebCenter Portal and ADF-based enterprise applications. This role is ideal for professionals with at least 8 years of experience in Oracle ADF, JavaScript, and REST API integrations, with strong problem-solving abilities and client-facing communication skills.
The consultant will be involved in requirement gathering, system design, technical development, deployment, and support, while also mentoring junior team members and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Leadership & Solution Design :
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Oracle ADF and Oracle WebCenter Portal applications.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, define system architecture, and deliver scalable solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure best practices are followed in ADF development and WebCenter customization.
Development & Integration :
- Design and implement ADF components, task flows, and bounded/unbounded flows.
- Integrate RESTful Web Services (APIs) and external systems into ADF/WebCenter applications.
- Develop and manage custom Oracle components, ADF bindings, and WebCenter assets.
- Handle integrations using RIDC (Remote Intradoc Client), IDOC Script, and Web Services.
Performance, Optimization & Maintenance :
- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and issue debugging.
- Support testing (unit/system/integration) and production deployment activities.
- Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to stakeholders and team members.
- Ensure applications are secure, reliable, and aligned with compliance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 8+ years of experience in Oracle ADF (Application Development Framework).
- Strong expertise in Java/J2EE, JavaScript, XML, and ADF lifecycle.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining ADF-based enterprise portals.
- Deep understanding of Oracle WebCenter Portal and its customization.
- Solid experience in REST API integration, web services, and SOA concepts.
- Hands-on experience with RIDC, IDOC Script, and ADF Business Components (BC4J).
- Proficient in SQL and working with Oracle Database.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and debugging capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work directly with clients.
Preferred/Good-to-Have Skills :
- Knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience or understanding of Oracle Identity Cloud Services (IDCS).
- Familiarity with Oracle WebCenter Content (WCC).
- Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD) and version control tools like Git.
- Certifications in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Java, ADF, or WebCenter are advantageous.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
