Optum - Data Analyst - SQL/Power BI

Description :

Use analytical skills to design, develop and maintain reports, dashboards and visualizations that provide insight to our client partners

- Interpret reports and analyses to make recommendations

- Lead complex reporting and analytics projects, including managing meetings and project plans

- Work with clients and business partners to create use cases and build supporting documentation

- Work with technology teams to investigate system performance and data issues

- Develop a sense of urgency when key deliverables are jeopardized; facilitate problem solving and meetings to address obstacles

- Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications - External

- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent work experience

- 4+ years of data analysis work experience

- 4+ years of development experience with PowerBI

- 3+ years of SQL query development experience

- 2+ years of experience working with enterprise data warehouse environments

- 2+ years in a healthcare organization (provider, payer etc.)

- Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills

- Demonstrated ability to self-direct and work in a cross-functional team environment
