Role : Operational Specialist - Azure & Infrastructure Automation

Job Overview :

We are looking for a technically skilled Operational Specialist with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, PowerShell scripting, and Terraform.

The candidate will support infrastructure automation, cloud provisioning, and operational monitoring while contributing to reliable and scalable cloud environments.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing scripts, automating operational tasks, and working with modern DevOps tools and CI/CD workflows.

Location : Gurugram / Noida / Bengaluru / Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute PowerShell scripts to automate infrastructure operations, system administration, and routine operational tasks.

- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources.

- Work with Microsoft Azure services and APIs to support resource deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

- Automate operational checks and implement appropriate testing and validation for PowerShell scripts and infrastructure changes.

- Monitor cloud infrastructure, investigate operational issues, and support root-cause analysis to improve system reliability.

- Manage infrastructure configuration and deployment workflows using Git and Azure DevOps.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance for automated infrastructure provisioning and deployment.

- Follow infrastructure automation best practices, including version control, reusable modules, error handling, and documentation.

- Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to improve operational efficiency and streamline cloud management processes.

- Support Agile delivery practices and participate in technical discussions, sprint planning, and continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including cloud resource management, provisioning, and monitoring.

- Extensive experience with PowerShell scripting, including automation, testing, debugging, and error handling.

- Practical experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code and automated cloud provisioning.

- Understanding of Azure APIs and their use in resource management and operational automation.

- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure operations, configuration management, and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaborative engineering environments.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to automate repetitive tasks and resolve technical issues.

Education and Experience :

- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- Engineering experience in cloud operations, infrastructure automation, or DevOps environments.
