Job Summary :
We are looking for a proactive, organized and technically proficient Program Manager II to contribute to managing engineering initiatives across our organization.
In this role, you will assist to manage project governance activities, including the configuration, optimization, and management of project management tools such as Aha!, Jira, and related dashboards.
This role ensures that project management standards, processes, and tools are effectively implemented to support the organization's strategic initiatives and operational excellence.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure alignment of governance processes with organizational objectives and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Create, manage, and optimize Jira dashboards, filters, and reports for stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain real-time project reporting dashboards to provide insights into project status, risks, and progress.
- Track and ensure the timely closure of project milestones, escalating delays and risks as necessary.
- Generate reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs), team velocity, and adherence to project timelines.
- Partner with project managers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure tools and processes meet their needs.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for team members on using Aha!, Jira, and dashboards effectively.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance project management tools and processes to improve efficiency and usability.
- Identify gaps and implement improvements to increase visibility and control across projects.
- Maintain documentation for governance processes, tool configurations, and standards.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project governance, project management, or a related role.
- Strong expertise in Aha!, Jira, and Jira-related tools (e.g., Confluence, Advanced Roadmaps).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) or Google Suite.
- Proficiency in creating reports, dashboards, and workflows in project management tools.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with other project management tools is preferred.
- Preferred Certification in Agile, Scrum Master, or PMP.
- Preferred knowledge of scripting and automation within Jira (e.g., using Automation for Jira or scripting plugins).
