Work Mode : Hybrid (3 Days per week from Office).

What you will do :

As a Senior Java Backend Engineer, you'll design and build scalable backend systems using Java (Spring Boot, MVC) and OOP principles.

You'll develop robust APIs, apply SOLID design patterns, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-performance applications.

Your experience with Terraform and AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, IAM) will support infrastructure automation.

You'll also work with Docker, contribute to CI/CD pipelines via GitLab, and assist with integrations using Node.js and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities Include :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.

- Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraform in AWS environments.

- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and IAM.

- Containerize applications using Docker and support deployment pipelines.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

- Maintain code quality through GitLab version control and CI/CD practices.

- Contribute to architectural decisions and design reviews.

Technical Skills you bring in :

- Java Backend Development (3+ years) : Strong in Core Java, Spring Boot (MVC), OOP concepts, SOLID principles, and design patterns.

- Infrastructure as Code (2+ years) : Hands-on experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.

- AWS Cloud Services (23 years) : Proficient with Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and IAM.

- Containerization : Experience with Docker for building and deploying containerized applications.

- Additional Development Skills : Working knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript (1+ year).

- Version Control & CI/CD : Proficient with GitLab for source control and pipeline automation.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Python scripting.

- Exposure to Jenkins for CI/CD automation.

- Familiarity with Amazon EKS / Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of Amazon CloudFormation.

- Experience integrating Kafka for event-driven systems.
