We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with 4-6 years of experience to join our high-performing engineering team in Bengaluru. You will be responsible for designing and building scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot, powering real-time digital experiences for millions of users. This is an onsite role based out of our Koramangala office, ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Java with at least 4 years of experience

- Deep understanding of Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem

- Experience building and scaling RESTful APIs and microservices

- Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

- Strong grasp of object-oriented design, system design, and best coding practices

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and performant code

- Problem-solving mindset with a strong sense of ownership

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

- Prior experience in high-traffic systems or real-time platforms

- Contributions to open-source projects or developer communities

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services for large-scale applications

- Work closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA to deliver new features

- Optimize performance and scalability of applications

- Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality

- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers

- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues

- Continuously explore and implement new technologies and best practices
