Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Architect with strong expertise in AWS to Azure cloud migration and transformation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing large-scale cloud migration initiatives while ensuring secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-effective solutions on Microsoft Azure.

The role requires strong hands-on experience across Azure and AWS, along with expertise in cloud architecture, networking, security, identity, automation, DevOps, and migration methodologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available Azure cloud solutions.

- Lead and execute AWS to Azure migration and cloud transformation projects.

- Assess existing AWS workloads and develop appropriate migration strategies and roadmaps.

- Define target Azure architecture based on business, technical, security, and performance requirements.

- Use migration and assessment tools such as Azure Migrate and Azure Site Recovery.

- Design cloud networking, identity, security, governance, and access management solutions.

- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

- Work with containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes/AKS.

- Monitor cloud environments using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics and troubleshoot performance or availability issues.

- Drive cloud optimization initiatives to improve scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.

- Work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and project managers to ensure successful delivery.

- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the migration lifecycle, including planning, execution, testing, and stabilization.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 9+ years of overall IT experience with strong experience in cloud architecture.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.

- 6+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Migration or related cloud migration initiatives.

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS to Azure migration projects.

- Deep knowledge of Azure services, including :

1. Azure Virtual Machines

2. Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

3. Azure App Services

4. Azure Storage

5. Azure Networking

6. Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)

7. Azure Monitor

8. Log Analytics

- Strong understanding of Azure and AWS cloud architecture and migration patterns.

- Hands-on experience with Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, and other cloud assessment/migration tools.

- Strong knowledge of networking, security, identity management, governance, and access control.

- Experience with Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.

- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and solution-design capabilities.

Good to Have :

- Experience with enterprise-scale cloud transformation programs.

- Knowledge of Azure Landing Zones and Cloud Adoption Framework.

- Experience with cloud security and compliance frameworks.

- Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert will be an advantage.
