We are seeking a highly analytical Senior Data Analyst with specialized expertise in the US Pharma Market Access ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for deconstructing large, complex healthcare datasets including claims and formulary coverage data to identify and map intricate relationships between US payer entities. You will serve as a technical bridge, leveraging SQL and database technology to manage healthcare payer master data hierarchies and structures. Beyond technical execution, you will act as a strategic collaborator, providing data-driven feedback to both business and technical stakeholders to enhance the quality of deliverables. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the commercial health insurance landscape and a process-oriented mindset, capable of automating data manipulation through PL/SQL or Python while thriving in a fast-paced, agile, global delivery model.

Responsibilities

- Advanced Payer Data Mapping : Analyze large-scale healthcare datasets to identify and map relationships between US payer entities at various organizational levels.

- Formulary & Claims Analysis : Deconstruct and compare disparate datasets, such as claims and formulary coverage, to ensure accurate data alignment and mapping.

- Master Data Management (MDM) : Contribute to the active management and maintenance of healthcare payer master data hierarchies, ensuring the integrity of attributes and structural relationships.

- SQL Engineering : Utilize expert-level SQL skills to perform complex data analysis, database design, and performance tuning for high-volume healthcare data.

- Process Optimization : Identify opportunities to enhance existing data mapping processes, providing detailed project estimates and workflow improvements.

- Automation & Scripting : Leverage PL/SQL (Oracle) or Python to automate repetitive data manipulation tasks and streamline large-scale data analysis.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with global business and technical teams to provide feedback on analysis outcomes and suggest quality-driven changes.

- Reporting & Analytics : Build comprehensive reports tracking data mapping rates and provide ad-hoc deep-dive analysis as required by stakeholders.

- Visual Data Storytelling : Utilize MS Excel (Advanced) and optionally Tableau or Power BI to communicate complex data findings to diverse, cross-functional audiences.

- Agile Project Contribution : Operate within an agile ecosystem, delivering high-quality technical outcomes while maintaining a project-oriented mindset in a remote setup.

Technical Requirements

- Domain Expertise : Minimum 3 years of experience in Managed Markets, Pharma Market Access, or the Commercial Health Insurance industry.

- Healthcare Data Analysis : 3+ years of experience analyzing large-scale healthcare datasets (Claims, Formulary, or Payer Master Data).

- SQL Mastery : Proficient in SQL with a strong background in database design and performance optimization; experience in PL/SQL is a significant advantage.

- Data Tooling : Expert-level proficiency in MS Excel for data manipulation and mapping.

- Scripting for Automation : Functional knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, and handling large data structures.

- Educational Background : Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant technical or analytical field.
